Although Chimney Tech is a newer company, our experience is far from new. Our CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps and Certified Dryer Exhaust Technicians bring over 30 years of combined hands-on industry experience. Chimney Tech is owned by Ryan Carter and Scott Hudnall. Ryan and Scott have worked side by side for over 13 years as co-workers, business partners, and trusted professionals in the chimney industry. Before starting Chimney Tech, they gained years of experience working with other chimney companies in the Fredericksburg and Stafford areas, including The Chimney Sweep & Duct Cleaning and OHA Chimney Sweep & Repair.

After years of working in the field together, Ryan and Scott decided to build a company of their own one focused on honest recommendations, clean workmanship, dependable service, and treating every customer’s home with the care and respect it deserves.​
